"It
is difficult to summarize the many facets of Jözef's creativity.
Forsaking his career in painting, he rose to the challenge of
sculpture. Being both literal and metamorphic, his sculpture
casts shadows from a different dimension. Sensitively yet ruthlessly,
he shows us both the subject and a mind of tormented creator.
Claws, protruding spines and twisted forms are outlined in a
crimson patina. This subtle indication of blood opens a window
to his, "mysterious injures." His art, like his life
is characterized by a continual play of contrasts. Lovingly
crafted yet revealing some haunted inner struggle. Perhaps the
void left by a lost love?"
